Payment Policy
At Global Work Path Consulting, we believe in transparent, fair, and ethical financial practices. This Payment Policy outlines the fees, payment terms, refunds, and service retainers for our work permit, visa, and immigration consulting services.
1. Scope of Services & Fees
Global Work Path Consulting provides professional immigration and work permit assistance. Our fees cover:
- Initial eligibility assessment & country-specific guidance
- Document verification and checklist preparation
- Job placement coordination (where applicable)
- Work permit / visa application support (forms, document alignment, submission guidance)
- Follow-up with employers, legal partners, or embassies (within agreed scope)
- Pre-departure orientation (if included in package)
All fees are clearly communicated in the client service agreement before any payment is collected. We do not charge hidden fees or administrative surcharges without prior disclosure.
2. Payment Structure & Installments
To make our services accessible, we offer flexible installment plans based on the service package selected. Typical payment schedule:
Payable upon signing the service agreement (non-refundable, covers case opening & documentation setup).
After document verification & job/employer matching stage.
Upon work permit / visa application submission.
After visa approval / positive decision (if applicable).
Note: Exact milestones are detailed in your personalized service plan. No payment is required before you receive clear scope of work.
3. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following secure payment methods:
- Bank transfer (International / UK local – BACS, CHAPS, SWIFT)
- Credit / Debit cards (via encrypted payment link – Stripe / Wise)
- TransferWise / Wise – for international clients
- Revolut business payments (by arrangement)
- Western Union (only in exceptional cases & verified invoices)
All payment receipts are issued via email within 2 business days. Please keep receipts for future reference.
4. Refund Policy
Global Work Path Consulting maintains a fair refund policy based on service stage and reason for non-approval:
- Non-refundable fees: Registration / administrative fee, document authentication costs, third-party government fees (embassy, translation, notary). These are clearly indicated before payment.
- Visa or work permit refusal: If a visa or work permit is officially rejected by the immigration authority through no fault or misrepresentation by the client, we refund the professional service fee (excluding government/embassy/non-refundable third-party fees) as per the signed contract. Refund is processed within 30 days after official rejection notice.
- Client withdrawal: If you decide to cancel the service after work has commenced, a proportional refund may be issued minus work completed (document reviews, employer contacts, legal consultations). No refunds if the application has already been submitted.
- Misrepresentation or false information: If a client submits fraudulent documents or withholds critical information leading to rejection, no refund will be issued.
5. Late Payment & Default
Payment deadlines are specified in your service agreement. If a payment is overdue by more than 15 days, we reserve the right to pause processing of your case until the outstanding amount is cleared. Continued non-payment beyond 30 days may lead to termination of the service agreement, with no refund of fees already paid for work completed.
6. Currency & Exchange Rates
All quoted fees are in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise stated. For clients paying in other currencies, the equivalent amount will be calculated based on the mid-market exchange rate at the time of invoicing. Any bank or third-party transfer fees are the client’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing.
7. Service Guarantee & Delivery Timeline
While we strive for successful outcomes, we cannot guarantee visa or work permit approval as the final decision lies with immigration authorities. However, we guarantee professional, accurate, and complete case handling. If we fail to provide any agreed milestone service due to our negligence, a partial refund proportionate to the incomplete service will be offered.
Estimated timelines are provided in good faith based on current processing averages. Delays by embassies, employers, or government agencies are outside our control and do not qualify for refunds.
8. Invoicing & Disputes
Invoices are sent via email upon each payment milestone. If you believe there is an error or unauthorized charge, you must contact us within 14 days of the invoice date. Disputes will be resolved in accordance with UK consumer rights. For unresolved issues, you may also contact the UK Financial Ombudsman Service or relevant small claims court (subject to contract terms).
9. VAT & Taxes
As a UK registered company, Global Work Path Consulting will add VAT (Value Added Tax) where applicable under UK tax law. Clients outside the UK may be exempt from VAT upon providing valid business evidence. It is your responsibility to consult a tax advisor regarding any local tax liabilities on our services.
10. Amendments to Payment Policy
We may update this Payment Policy periodically to reflect operational or regulatory changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. For active clients, any material change affecting existing agreements will be communicated via email.
