These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Global Work Path Consulting website and the professional immigration, work permit, and visa consulting services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Introduction & Company Information
Global Work Path Consulting is a UK registered limited company (Company Number SC887466). Our registered office is in Scotland, United Kingdom. We provide overseas employment assistance, work permit guidance, immigration consultancy, and related services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client”, “you”, “your”) and Global Work Path Consulting (“we”, “us”, “our”). Please read them carefully before using our services or website.
2. Scope of Services
Our services include but are not limited to:
- Eligibility assessments for work visas, study-to-work pathways, and immigration programs.
- Document verification, checklist preparation, and application guidance.
- Job placement assistance through verified partner employers (where applicable).
- Work permit and visa application support (including forms, submission assistance, and follow-up).
- Pre-departure orientation and compliance advice.
3. Client Responsibilities
To receive our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information and documents (passport, work history, education certificates, etc.).
- Inform us immediately of any changes in personal circumstances (e.g., address, employment, legal status).
- Respond to our communications and requests for additional information within reasonable timeframes.
- Pay all agreed fees on time according to the service agreement and Payment Policy.
- Comply with the immigration laws and requirements of the destination country.
- Not submit fraudulent, forged, or misleading documents. Any such action will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
4. Fees & Payment Terms
Our fees are outlined in the service agreement and comply with our Payment Policy. Key points:
- All fees are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise stated.
- Payment plans and installments are available as specified in your custom proposal.
- Third-party fees (government application fees, translations, medical exams, police certificates, courier charges) are non-refundable and are the client’s responsibility.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, or currency exchange fluctuations.
Failure to pay fees when due may result in suspension or termination of services.
5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds are governed by our Payment Policy. In summary:
- Registration fee is non-refundable as it covers initial work and administrative setup.
- If a work permit or visa is officially rejected without fault or misrepresentation by the client, the professional service fee (excluding external costs) may be refunded as per contract terms.
- If you cancel after work has commenced, a prorated refund may be issued minus work already performed.
- No refunds are provided for rejected applications due to client’s failure to follow instructions, submission of false documents, or criminal/medical inadmissibility.
6. No Guarantee of Outcome
Global Work Path Consulting operates with the highest professional standards, but we do not guarantee visa approval, work permit issuance, job offer, or specific processing times. Immigration authorities have sole discretion. We are not liable for changes in immigration laws, employer policies, or delays by third parties. Our advice is based on current regulations, which may change without notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Global Work Path Consulting shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services (including loss of income, employment opportunities, or travel expenses).
- Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- We are not responsible for actions or omissions of third parties (embassies, employers, background check agencies, couriers).
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website – including text, graphics, logos, guides, and forms – is the intellectual property of Global Work Path Consulting. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes related to our services.
9. Confidentiality & Data Protection
We treat your personal information and case details with strict confidentiality. Our data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy. By engaging our services, you consent to the collection, processing, and transfer of personal data as necessary for immigration purposes, including sharing with legal partners, employers, or government authorities when required.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose or to violate immigration laws.
- Submit false, forged, or misleading documentation.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff or partners.
- Attempt to circumvent any security measures on our website.
Violation may lead to immediate termination of services, forfeiture of fees, and notification to relevant authorities.
11. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. We may terminate your engagement immediately if you breach these Terms or any applicable law. Upon termination, any outstanding fees become due immediately, and we are not obligated to refund fees for incomplete milestones caused by your breach.
12. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For ongoing clients, material changes will be communicated via email. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland. For clients outside the UK, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Scottish courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum.
14. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, pandemics, government actions, embassy closures, strikes, or internet failures.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Payment Policy, and your signed service agreement (where applicable), constitute the entire agreement between you and Global Work Path Consulting regarding our services. They supersede any prior agreements, representations, or understandings.
